Cherry Blossoms

I love this time of year. The tidal basin in front of the Jefferson Memorial, and the FDR Memorial are surrounded by beautiful Cherry trees, that blossom this time of year, creating a gorgeous white pink and purple ring.

National Cherry Blossom Festival

This Saturday they will be doing fireworks, and I will making another update for that alone.

Took a trip over to the Washington National Cathedral recently. It's such a beautiful building. Maybe I'll get some inside snapshots later on, so I can cross that off my list of things to do here.
